EP-Link has started a new service 'Patient LINK' for facilitating clinical trials. Patient LINK is a service where EP-Link intermediates in referring patients who are subjects of clinical trial medical institutions (trial sites) from EP-Link's other partner medical institutions (partner sites). By having SMO intervene in both the trial sites and partner sites, patient referrals proceed smoothly. EP-Link's CRCs support doctors at the partner site, explaining comprehensively the trial information to patients, to alleviate anxieties or concerns about participating in the clinical trials – accommodating their motivations to participate. Patient LINK contributes to the early completion of the contracted number of patient enrollment and shortens trial periods.
